At ISA we believe that it is important for all our students to study Chinese culture and traditions in conjunction with Chinese language classes.  Culture and language are inseparable and as such giving children additional instruction intraditional Chinese culture will give them a perspective and understanding as they develop in their Chinese literacy. 

Our Chinese culture teacher, Ms. Li Feiyan is an expert in Chinese culture, having taught it for more than a decade.  She is an expert in her field and is able to engage the students in authentic and relevant inquiry into traditional Chinese culture.
